Nobody feels him, but I do,
Nobody hears him but I do,
Appearing suddenly,
He takes my breath away,
Until I can’t breathe no more,
He stops me abruptly,
His old boots frayed,
Kicking my core.
Nobody feels him, but I do,
Nobody sees him, but I do,
He seems to like my company,
Everyone else, his enemy.
His heart cracks,
When he sees them laugh,
Their smiles bring him apart.
Nobody feels him, but I do,
Nobody cries for him, but I do,
They never see him,
They never feel him,
They don’t care.
They have nothing to hide,
But I do.
Nobody feels him, but I do,
Nobody screams for him, but I do.
He’s an addiction,
Not just a figment of my imagination.
I don’t want to feel him, but I do.
I don’t want to hear him, but I do.

Humans feel many emotions and this is a great expression of sadness. Enjoy!

This reminds me of a prose I read on depression. The worst thing to say to a person with depression is “things will get better” or “look on the bright side”.
