7 Pieces of Clothing That’ll Help You Travel Through Seasons

Staples are awesome, aren’t they? And we’re not talking about the metal wires that bind paper together. Wardrobe staples are essential in every girl’s closet. Let’s be honest, most of us own a ton of clothes but we only wear like five tops on a day-to-day basis. And although our closet is flooded with clothes that we refuse to throw away, we end up saying, “I have nothing to wear! I need to go shopping soon!”

Story of every girl’s life!

But, we still go back to those valuable pieces of clothing again and again, just because they are so freaking comfortable! And alas, many tops and bottoms cannot be worn in all the seasons, we mean, have you ever seen anyone wear a leather jacket in Mumbai heat. Or have you seen anyone wear short shorts in the winter? Yeah. That’s right.

But what if you wanted to transition clothing in all, or at least most seasons? Well, we have the perfect solution to your problem! Here are seven pieces of clothing that’ll help you travel throughout the seasons:

1) Boyfriend Jeans

You don’t need a boyfriend to rock this trend throughout the year! These jeans are super comfy to wear in the summer because unlike skinny jeans, they do not stick to your body like a glove! And in the cooler months, they’re thick enough to keep you warm and cosy!

2) Slip Dresses:

Slip dresses are so versatile because they can be worn over or under and outfit! Take a lesson from the Kardashian sisters over here for some inspo!

3) Scarves:

Scarves come in a verity of colours, patterns, and fabrics! And they can be worn in so many different ways too. In the hotter months, wear your scarf like a turban or a belt for that added oomph!

4) Peasant Dresses:

Add a big, slouchy tote and flip-flops to your peasant dress for a beachy vibe. Or, add leggings and boots for fall!

5) The LBD:

A girl can never go wrong with a little black dress! An LBD can be easily dressed up or down according to the changing seasons!

6) Palazzo Pants:

Palazzo pants are the looser, roomier version of leggings! The diva Deepika Padukone rocks palazzos two ways in the above pics.

7) Midi Skirts:maxresdefault

Midi skirts are all the rage! You’re sure to feel like a fairy in these super airy skirts!

So, there you go! Hope this article helped you!

Hello again! And 9th Video – ‘Compliments’!

So, I’ve been gone for more than a month! Yikes! Some of you who used to read my poems must be like,”She blogged so much and so frequently earlier, what happened to that?” Well, I’ve been busy. No that’s a lie. I’ve been procrastinating. A lot. About everything. Family, friends, chores, and studies. Hell, I even procrastinate about watching anime and YouTube videos! And I love them both so much!

It’s just that every time I wanna do something for me, like making videos or blogging, for example, a new project from college comes along and those aren’t really fun. Group projects can go suck it. I get overwhelmed by all these tasks – the writing, the working, the studying, and the working out that I do either a few of them or none at all. So stupid of me.

Anyhoo, I know I’ve started this post on a sad note, but let my new video cheer you up! That’s right, I finally posted a video! So, this one is all about compliments and how people react to them. Get ready to laugh, relate and learn!

So tell my how do you react to compliments? Did you miss me? Do you like chocolate? Okay, enough with the questions. If you guys like this video, please COMMENT, LIKE, SHARE & SUBSCRIBE! It’s all free anyway! Also, comment about anything! Let’s chat! πŸ˜€

And from now on, I’m gonna post a new video every Sunday!! And I’ll also post a poem every week without fail!Β So without further ado, here’s my new video:

Also, if you like this video, please give it a big thumbs up! And please COMMENT, SHARE & SUBSCRIBE!!! It’s free anyway!

My real name

Have you ever had to constantly repeat your name over and over again just because it’s so unique and weird? I know I have. Its the story of my life. That’s precisely why meeting someone new is a nightmare for me. That person’s name would be extremely simple to remember. And my name on the other hand is constantly misheard, and mispronounced! It’s damn frustrating!!!
My name, by the way, drum roll please, is…
It’s pronounced as Rum – Shaa. Two syllables!! And yet people never seem to remember my name! People always tell me,”I’m sorry but could you please repeat your name once again, its just so difficult to remember it.”
My plight just doesn’t end there. I live in the vast subtropical country known as India where there are many variations of my name. A few examples of girls names are :- Reshma, Rashmi, Rimsha, Rumsha. I’ve been called all these names, much to my chagrin.  Not only that I’ve once been called Ramesh, which in India is a boy’s name. Sigh.
A few years ago, there was this kid’s newspaper known as ‘Ya!’ Being a kid myself, I absolutely loved reading that paper. There would be a section in the paper where the kids would send in their art work which would be published along with his/her name and age. I did the same. I drew a girl wearing a beautiful pink and green ball gown. When I checked that week’s paper, my drawing had been published. I was extremely overjoyed until I saw the spelling error. They had printed my name as Rashma. It’s just two syllables! How difficult is that?!
Not only that, on a school trip a few years ago, my name on the flight ticket had been printed as Kamsha.
And further, I’ve recently joined an advertising school. It’s been over two months since I’ve enrolled there. A few days ago, one of my classmate, walked over to me and asked me a question and called me Rimsha. Dear readers, please do bear in mind that after two months, we all classmates know each other’s names. And he called me Rimsha!
All this being said, I absolutely love my name but I would love it if people remembered it more often.

Do you have a unique name? And do people constantly take it for granted and mispronounce it? Do comment and let’s all marvel at the uniqueness of our names.

And, as always, if you like what I write, please like, comment and follow! It’s free anyway!
– Ramsha. πŸ˜€

Life Hacks #1

Who all get nervous just thinking about public speaking??? I know I do. Raise your hand if you feel this way too so I don’t feel awkward over here standing by myself with my hand raised.

So, a few days ago I participated in a debate competition. And a minute before my turn, I was getting extremely nervous.
Side note: Signs of nervousness include – 1)Thinking so much at a time, that one doesn’t know what to think anymore.
2)An overwhelming urge to run away, to go back home and forget about the speech that was never spoken by one.
3)Sweating. A lot.
4)Unnaturally cold palms.
5)A prayer asked by one for an earthquake at the same moment as one’s speech. Also, any other natural disaster will suffice.
6)Wanting everyone in the audience to look away when one gives one’s speech.
So, what’s the solution? Five seconds before my speech, I had an epiphany.
The epiphany goes something like this – “I’m never gonna see any of you all ever again. Ever. Ever! So it doesn’t even matter if I mess up. You all won’t remember me anyway! The joke’s on you all. Muahaha! See you never suckers!!!

This thought can calm  anyone down in an instant! This method has been tried an tested! And is 100% Ramexa approved!

So I’m planning to share a life hack every week. What do you all think about it? Do comment!
